How We Manage Sustained Production
Production programs at Velocity CNC are managed from a documented production traveler that records setup approvals, in-process inspection checkpoints, material lot numbers, and quality sign-offs for every lot. The traveler is retained in our quality records and available for review under your supplier audit process.
Setup documentation is maintained between production runs. When a repeat order arrives, the setup is not rebuilt from the drawing — it is restored from the documented setup record, inspected for setup approval, and production begins. This is why our on-time delivery rate on production programs holds above 98%.
Delivery Communication
Schedule changes are communicated proactively — not discovered at the expected ship date. If a material delay, machine event, or inspection finding is going to affect delivery, you receive notification with an updated delivery estimate within 24 hours of identifying the issue, not at the moment the part was expected to arrive.

Documentation on Every Production Lot
Every production shipment includes a complete documentation package assembled during production — not on the day of delivery:
- Certificate of Conformance with drawing revision reference
- Material certifications with heat lot numbers traced to each production lot
- Dimensional inspection report (CMM-verified on critical dimensions)
- First Article Inspection package on qualifying lots (design change, production gap)
- Compliance records for special processes, where applicable
Program-specific documentation requirements — custom CoC formats, AS9102 FAIR forms, digital delivery specifications — are addressed in the initial program setup and maintained through the production run.
