Complete documentation is not assembled before delivery — it's built throughout production. Your receiving inspection team finds a package, not a promise.
/ WHAT YOU RECEIVE
Standard Documentation on Every Shipment
Every shipment from Velocity CNC includes complete quality documentation without a separate request. The package is assembled throughout production and arrives with the hardware.
- Certificate of Conformance (CoC): References drawing revision, material specification, and purchase order number. States conformance to drawing requirements by dimension lot.
- Material Certifications: Mill certifications for raw material lots, traceable to specific heat lot numbers. Provided for all aerospace-grade material — titanium, Inconel, aluminum, and specialty alloys.
- Dimensional Inspection Report: CMM-verified measurements of critical dimensions. Report format includes ballooned dimension reference, measured value, tolerance, and pass/fail status.
- First Article Inspection Package: Full FAI documentation on qualifying parts — new part numbers, design changes, and production gap re-activations.
/ PROGRAM-SPECIFIC
Program-Specific Documentation Requirements
Some programs require documentation beyond our standard package — specific form formats, customer-supplied documentation templates, digital records in specified file formats, or supplemental test reports.
These requirements must be identified before production begins. Include documentation requirements in your RFQ submission, or contact our engineering team before the RFQ to discuss scope. Documentation requirements identified after production has started cannot always be satisfied retroactively.
Common Program-Specific Requirements We Support
- Customer-supplied CoC form formats
- Digital delivery of documentation in specified file formats (PDF/A, etc.)
- FAIR (First Article Inspection Report) forms per AS9102
- Special process certifications (Nadcap-certified processes sourced to approved subcontractors)
- Specific heat lot documentation formats
