RFQ Intake
Your drawing, CAD file, and program context reach a Velocity CNC engineer directly — not a routing queue, not a capacity network. Within 2 business hours, you receive acknowledgement that your submission has been received and that the review has begun.
Drawing Review
Before a price is quoted, a Velocity CNC engineer reads your drawing with manufacturing intent. Wall thickness, tolerance stack interactions, datum selection, surface finish requirements — specific, drawing-referenced observations returned within 24 hours of RFQ submission.
Quote + Engineering Notes
Your quote arrives with the review findings. Price, lead time, process route, and any recommended design modifications are presented together so you can evaluate them as a set. Lead times are tied to real capacity.
Production
Velocity CNC's production quality process governs every operation: documented setup records, in-process inspection at each critical stage, and material traceability maintained from the receiving dock through every operation. If a schedule threat emerges, we communicate before the delivery date.
First Article Inspection
On qualifying programs, the first production article receives 100% dimensional inspection — every dimension on the drawing, verified by CMM and documented in the FAI report. The FAI package is ready when the part is ready — not compiled after the fact.
Delivery + Documentation
The part and the documentation package ship together. The certificate of conformance, material traceability records, and inspection data arrive at your receiving dock in the same shipment as the hardware — organized, complete, and ready for your incoming inspection review.
